My daughter is ten months old and seems to be more concerned with her motor skills than speaking. It’s fine for now, but I am eagerly awaiting her first words and wonder when I’ll likely hear them. So far she babbles dada all the time but doesn’t seem to connect that her daddy is “dada”. By her age I was already saying three words and a lot of babies around her age are saying mum and dad easily, so I’m just wanting to know when she should be saying a couple words by. My friend’s little girl is autistic non verbal and even though I don’t feel like my daughter gives me any reason to worry, it is of course a fear of mine that perhaps is bigger in my head than others’.
