Does your 2 year old still drink a bottle? How did you get them to stop?

By 12 months, they should at LEAST have been introduced to sippy cups at that point, but by 2 years I don't feel that it's appropriate for them to still have a bottle. That's really odd to me. I was a toddler teacher for years (ages 12-24 months) and NONE of them still had bottles.

Told her we left it at target! It worked she asked for it for 3 days, didn’t cry just was wondering about it. Now she’s on supply cups and regular cups. Which I introduced at a young age.

I gave both my girls sippy cups by 6/7 months...I think cold turkey is the best way though. That’s how I got my oldest when she was 16 months to quit her binky.

I just started giving her a cup. Granted though we never used bottles. She went from boob to cup.

my son is just about 2 and we only just took it away. cold turkey.    now he's not even interested in it. wouldn't even take one even if we tried and I just took it away a week ago

My 1 yr old is on sippys. Has been strictly sippy since 9 months. I just went cold turkey, he never even noticed the bottle went bye bye.

I stopped giving her access to a bottle 🤷🏻‍♀️ Introduced sippy cups around 10 months and at 12 months just stopped giving her access to a bottle.

My daughter is a little over 3 now. It took up to a month after she turned 3 to get her off of the bottle!  I NEVER had that issue with my son. She drank from a cup or a sippy through out the day. But absolutely WOULD NOT fall asleep with out having a baba! Guess what it took? During Christmas break I spent a week with the kids at my bffs house that lives 5hours away. I “forgot” to bring it. She asked for it once the first evening we were there. I told her that I had forgotten it and she’s just have to drink her milk from a cup. She was pissed at first but quickly got over it. I texted my husband the third day in and told him to throw the damn bottles away. (He didn’t but he hid them) She hasn’t had a bottle since. Sometimes you just have to do what works even if it means you have to be a little tricky. lol

My son threw his bottle away and refused to take it when he turned 1. He was drinking from sippy cups since 7 months old.
