So when does everything start to feel real?

I’m 9 weeks and we had our first OB appointment yesterday. We heard the heart beat and saw the baby moving. And I was in so much shock still that this is happening. It’s like a shock where you don’t know whether to laugh or cry. It still doesn’t feel real that this is happening and I still have some doubts. When is this going to feel real and when am I going to actually feel okay??

It didn’t feel real to me until I was holding my son in my arms. I had to pinch myself my whole pregnancy because I just couldn’t imagine how I could get so lucky, and I was constantly worried it would just all go away. Every morning, even when I was in my third trimester and could feel him moving regularly, I would reach down and rub my belly in awe and disbelief.

I’m currently 5 weeks and in the same boat. My friend told me it won’t feel real until you start showing and feeling the baby move around
