Postpartum depression

If I were to tell my doctor that I may have postpartum depression, would I be hospitalized for it. I had a near death experience when having my first child and have been unhappy ever since I’ve had major anxiety. One year and a half later I had another child and cannot seem to come to terms with happiness. I have a concert things emotionally during my pregnancy as well as afterwords with my SO. That of course did not help but keep my depression spiraling.
