First Appointment

I went to my first appointment yesterday - typical urine & blood tests and a teaching session since this is my first pregnancy. I'm 6 weeks 3 days today. I don't go back for my next appointment and first ultrasound until the end of my 11th week. Why does it have to be so far away?! I'm so anxious now!
