Okay so this is a in the future situation. I am due at the end of May with my first. We have a scheduled trip to PR at the beginning of July (rescheduled from Oct '17 due to hurricane Maria & latest we could rebook ) Personally, I in absolute NO way feel comfortable taking my baby that will barely be 2 months old to PR mainly because of the zika threat. My fiance is all like we are going I can't wait for my grandmother to see her blah blah.

I get that I truly do and I would be all for it if it wasn't so soon after birth . I want to tell my doctor to mention in front of him that she doesn't recommend baby going but I don't see him listening.

What are you suggestions in this situation ? Would baby girl be okay, or is it like a scientific fact (lol) that it wouldn't be safe to take her so soon
