Naproxen, Meloxicam and pregnancy! Beware!

Gleny

I have been to a fertility specialist. I have been tested for anything that can interfere with conception and all bloodwork results are normal. I have been trying to get pregnant for 7 years now. I have a severe case of carpal tunnel syndrome so I regularly take Naproxen, Meloxicam or Advil. It turns out that these medication can adversely affect ovulation. Doctors never pointed this out during consult. I found out by reading online and telling my OB/GYN about my current medication intake. Only about 25% chance of ovulation occurs while using any of these medications. I kept taking opk test and never had a positive. It's upsetting to not have known this before. Nonetheless, I can barely stand the pain in my hands and forearm. It's all a struggle. But I really want a baby😟
