Wine and breastfeeding?

My LO is almost four months and EBF, as of right now I don't pump at all for personal reasons. Is it safe for me to have a little wine (half a glass or so) and nurse? Most resources I've read over have said yes, but my LO is a big comfort nurser so I can't really map out a particular "window" in which he definitely won't need to eat so it's possible he'll nurse shortly after I drink it. Any BTDT advice?

Yes! If you can drive a car, you can feed your baby.

I have fed my daughter WHILE having a glass of wine. And after 9 months with no alcohol, I don’t need much more than a small glass 😂 
Rule of thumb is your body gets rid of 1 unit pr. hour. But you can feed with a few units in the blood. Usually when she started sleeping 4-5 hour stretches at night, I’d have a glass in the weekend after she had gone to bed. And then it’s no problem feeding her during the night.

My friend told me about a feed safe app, you can input what ur drinking, how much, your weight and height and it tells you how long you should wait

Yes!! As everyone else has said, if you can drive you can nurse. I suppose it’s “ideal” to wait 2 hours to nurse after having a glass, but if you can’t you’re not going to pass enough (if any) alcohol onto your baby to cause a harmful effect.
