I had the Implanon put in 6 years ago. At my 3 year expiration date I got it removed & immediately got the Nexplanon put in. December 2017 was my 3 year expiration & I did not get it removed. I had my normal periods after the expiration date but this month I had my period a week ago like normal now a couple days ago I started spotting, then later it turned brown. I don’t know if it’s considered a period or heavy spotting because I can go without a tampon but then randomly have a lot of blood/brown blood on my toilet paper when I wipe. Just wondering if this is normal as I’ve never had this happen.

Are my periods trying to get back to normal?

Is this the normal spotting for ovulation I’ve just never experienced this!

Also am I able to become pregnant since it has expired yet I haven’t got it removed?
