Should I be upset?

So there's this guy in my life. We've been talking on and off for maybe a year now. But November is when we actually started hanging out. He shows interest in me but does not want a relationship(it's complicated but it would work with our situation. Like dating without the title). The last time I saw him he kissed me, which was last week. Come this week he's saying he wants to see me and everything so we could spend time together. So yesterday was v-day and I didn't get a happy vday or anything which didn't upset me but he just stopped texted me around 4, which was odd. He said he would be back home yesterday so I was assuming we'd hang out or he's want vday sex or something but he never replied and I haven't talked to him today  either. Is this a red flag to You? Should I continue trying to talk to him?

Yes it’s a red flag. Clearly he doesn’t want to be with you. If he didn’t he wouldn’t show you this lack of attention like that.

You know, and I know that whatever you guys have won't get anywhere. He was probably with some one else on V-Day, and some one he is much more interested on.. don't be his side girl you deserve to be respected and some one that treats you like a queen. I am 7 years married and up to this day my husband treats me like his queen. Out of nowhere he brings me a bar of chocolate, or cookies, and that's the kind of men that you need. Some one that does not needs a reason to think about you and brings you something special just because. Let him go and find someone that can't wait to see you, talk to you, or even text.. some one that's eager do you and only you.

I don’t understand. So I read your post and you are asking if it’s a red flag some ladies are giving you a straight answer “YES” all
of it is a huge Red Flag. And I read in the comments what you are saying and your making up excuses to the reason why he is that way he is with you and why he doesn’t want a to be in a relationship or have titles or why he doesn’t text you back. And then you continue on to say that you don’t care  basically cause you are not wanting to be in a committed relationship with him cause your not into him like that and so your good with no titles and level up to the whole romantic friends. But yet your worried about communication with this guy? 
I don’t want to offend you but im gonna tell you what it seems like from this view and what you’ve said all put together.
You’re lying to yourself and you’re trying hard to level up and play the game like he does but in reality you’re getting emotionally invested. See cause I can tell you from my past experience in “the game” a person who doesn’t REALLY want a commitment, titles, relationships etc. Doesn’t really care what the other person does or why they don’t text or communicate. It’s all the contrary that’s the beauty of the one who lives life with out commitments - you answer to no one and don’t expect communication from the other side. That’s in my past and im not proud of it but I remember how it was and the moment homeboy got emotionally invested and started wanting my whereabouts and communication during the week I cut him lose. Sorry if I offend you in anyway but it looks way to familiar for me no to notice what’s really happening.

I can say that my life now is kinda like yours, I met a guy last year at the time he had girlfriend but I didn't knew so we start going out and we start with kisses and after 3months we started having sex ( when we start having sex he already had broken up with his girlfriend)...and this as last till now a relationship with no tag...but what I'm try to say is that maybe your guy have a girlfriend but the things aren't going well between them and his try reaching out to other girls that in this case is you (it happen to me after I discovered that he had a girlfriend, things weren't well between them so he was trying be happy with another..)..

P.S.- it would be weird if I was a side girl because he doesn't do girlfriends in the first place. He seems like a really honest and upfront guy. It seems he would've told me he had other plans bc I wouldn't have been upset.

Let me clarify the no title thing. This guy doesn't date the way other people date because he's a very busy man and doesn't want to commit because he doesn't have the time to put focus onto a woman. So he dates with no title and enjoys company. Like FWB but a level up. Basically, he does some of the things normal couples do but with no title or commitment. it's just dating with some benefits. I'm okay with that idea because I'm not willing to commit and he doesn't interest me in that way. I just would've expected more communication and at the very least, for him to ask me over(for sex if anything). We haven't had sex yet, we just hang out and have great conversation. Last time we cooked dinner together and watched a movie. He's capable of being intimate but I got  nothing from him yesterday. I know it's weird and hard to follow and maybe I was expecting too much but idk if I  have a right to communicate that I was upset because I'm technically still a romantic friend. Btw he was the one eager to see me this week so I'm just confused.

you say he likes you and you like him but don't wanna pit a label on it. I get it, sometimes there's just too much going on to put a title on it and commit at the time. But if this guy asks you to hangout and then stops talking to you for 2 days now!? I'd say don't bother waiting for him. yet again idk the person so if the guy seams nice and not the kinda guy who would just stop talking you then maybe hold on a bit longer but don't get your hopes up
