Which measurement is more accurate?

So I’m 33w4d and my girl is measuring around 32 weeks (per belly measurement) not sure how accurate that measurement is vs an actual US growth scan. She was measuring 4.5 lbs yesterday per US which is why I’m confused bc that weight is right on track. Just a little confused! I would think US would be more accurate but just curious what you ladies think?

Yeah I’d say neither..ultrasounds can be up to 2lbs off and depending on the baby’s position etc that can also affect the belly measurement. I was consistently 2cm smaller and then went to 3cm. They said 2cm was completely normal, but they felt the baby and thought he or she is in completely normal range for size so even 3cm wasn’t concerning. They stopped measuring at 36 weeks and everything seems to be on track.

Neither ways at this point are very accurate. I had both done past my 20 week scan. They terrified me by telling me over and over baby was big and was going to be well over 9 lbs. I delivered him at 38 w 6 d and he was 5 lbs 8 oz lol

My regular midwife never does fundal measurement but I had to see someone else last week...she measured me at 33w even though I was 36w. She asked me if I've always measured small, I said no so she says "well I'll just fudge it a little" and measured me at 36w🙄
My regular midwife just does US at every appointment and baby has been on the larger size according to that.

i measured small at every appt. i had a 5 pound baby.  its normal unless it starts to become more than 2 weeks difference

She might be lying differently or lower or something when they measure your belly. Mine did for awhile. Now she’s run out of room and both measurements add up
