My baby girl is 5 months now. When she was 3-4 months she stopped breastfeeding. I pumped and pumped and pumped during this time. I pumped every four hours, resulting to 30-35 oz a day. It was great, but I still wanted my little girl to breastfeed. So I purchased nipple shields.

Anyways I sent my mom a picture of my LO breastfeeding. My moms reply what is the plastic between my baby and I. I told her the truth. My LO confuses nipple to bottle so I made a compromise. I would rather have a piece of plastic between my daughter and I before I completely give up breastfeeding all together. I love nurturing my baby and I will not be shamed by anyone on how I do it !

I got mastitis about a week ago, but I’m not giving up ! We’re back at it again 😆
