Hey I am highly set on trying the IUD. I have previously tried the implant and the pill. My body hated those options so I was not on those options for more than 5 months. I have always been weirded out by the IUD because I didn’t understand it, but with some more research and a suggestion from my gynecologist, I am becoming more open it. I am leaning toward paragard because it doesn’t contain hormones. I will soon look more into the science as I am super fascinated.

For everyone who has experience with an IUD or knows of experiences, please tell me how you have liked having the iud. If you have gotten it taken out, what are your reasons? I understand everyone is different and will have different reactions but I’d love to hear real stories instead of the generic “in the clinical trials” stories. Thank you so much!
