Period after weight loss surgery

I had my VSG done 7/27/17 and had one normal period about a week after surgery. I am on 3 month birth control where I have my period once every 3 months. However, I haven’t had a single period in almost 7 months now. I’m definitely not pregnant, but would like to try after my 1 year surgiversary. I had very normal periods before being sleeved. I started at 250 lbs and am currently 157 lbs. Anyone else skip this many periods after weight loss surgery? Will it affect the chances of me getting pregnant when the time comes? I plan to talk to my doctor at my next appointment, but that’s a ways out and I’m starting to get anxious just wondering. Any shared experiences would be appreciated! Thabks!
