Ectopic unknown

Brittany • Married💍 1 amazing little girl 7-9-19🤱🏽

Anyone that could possibly have any advice for me would be great. On 2-2 my doctor and myself thought I miscarried at 5 weeks, however, my HCG levels are now climbing.. its only been a week and half so too soon to see a “new” pregnancy on an ultrasound... but yet my dr keeps throwing around an ectopic pregnancy... in 3 ultrasounds she hasn’t seen anything though, nothing in either tube and also nothing in my uterus... does it anyone know if it’s possible for an ectopic pregnancy to never be “found” or confirmed? I just don’t see how I could make myself go through with the methotrexate medication without a for sure confirmation it is indeed ectopic... anyone gone through this? Have any type of experience with this? I’ve spoke to 2 doctors... the one that wants me to chose the medication can’t find anything the other doctor said my HCG would be through the roof (which it’s not) and that I would have pain, which I’m not... any help I would love

They could not find my ectopic through any scans. My HCG levels were declining and they knew from this it was an ectopic pregnancy, which unfortunately ruptured and I began to bleed into my pelvic area resulting in emergency surgery the next morning. It's good they are keeping a close eye on you. My hospital kept sending me home. I was in agony for days before going back and having surgery. My thoughts and prayers are with you x

my second ectopic pregnancy couldn’t be found everything seemed normal as far a hcg levels going but they they just couldn’t find the baby ... till I started getting sick and went to the ER started fainting hyper tensioning, so I ended up being rushed into surgery in order to find this pregnancy and save my life they found the baby not in my tube not in my uterus but attached in my abdomen .

I had an ectopic in June. My hcg was rising very slowly. They kept searching but couldn’t see the embryo or sac on an ultrasound. I waited till I should have been 8 weeks. Still slow rising hcg and couldn’t find the sac. Went ahead with the shot. It’s not uncommon for them not to find it on an ultrasound when your levels aren’t that high. What’s your hcg and progesterone levels? My only symptom was bleeding on and off.

Never had progesterone checked but as of today which I would have been 11 weeks my HCG is finally down to 16 after the shot 3 weeks ago

I had an ectopic and was not considered at risk or showed any of the common signs. I had some on and off brown spotting for a month. Every ultrasound should nothing, nothing in my uterus or tube. The Vet last one showed a mass on the left side, but still couldn’t confirm without a biopsy of the uterus to see if there was placenta. That was the only way they could confirm. My Hcg levels were slow rising. November is my ectopic results and February is my new pregnancy with normal rises.

You won’t see it when it’s that low. Usually shows on an ultrasound when hcg is above 4000

I had surgery to remove ectopic and unfortunately lost my left tube as well. I was told to wait at least one full healthy cycle before trying again. Well I waited for my period and nothing, I did feel like I ovulated and yep I was right. I’m currently pregnant, completely unplanned. My levels looks way better than before and going in today to confirm baby is not in the tube. I know with the shot it’s different because you have to wait for you Hcg levels to drop before trying again. I would listen to your body and doctor and make the choice if it’s safer to take the shot. Your levels are quite low like mine, but it won’t tell if it’s ectopic.

I only ask because she said I would have to wait a minimum of 3 months after the medication before we could try again, and I clearly see this wasn’t your rule given?

They never found mine on an ultrasound. They suspected it might have been ovarian or at the end of the tube, but could never confirm. They went off of erratic hcg levels, I got treatment with methotrexate only when I started to have pain on the side they suspected. Since they couldn’t confirm where the pregnancy was, they weren’t sure if it was a miscarriage or an ectopic until I felt the pain.

Yes, I went back for weekly blood draws. It took seven weeks for mine to get from 1280 to 0. By doctor said that was a little longer than he was used to seeing.

Did they monitor your levels down after the shot? If so how long did it take them to go back down?

I just got diagnosed with ectopic pregnancy on Valentine's day. I've been going to doc since Jan 27th and nothibg has been found, pregnancy has not been "confirmed" so the doc said ectopic. I decided to take the shot bc i didn't want any damage internally. such a hard decision for my husband and I on Valentine's day at that. but my health and the possibility of conceiving again was our priority. It's a hard decision but Obama prating for another pregnancy once thisbis over ANF one to be successful. good luck!!!
