Hi hun! There is no shame in this. I promise, I was the same way when I first found out, too! Felt like I’d never find someone to accept me with this horrible, shameful skin disease. Puhlease. 🙄 I’m now engaged, expecting a baby boy in June and completely in love with my wonderful man who could give a rats ass less if I get the equivalent of a cold sore on my coochy every now and again. It’s not a death sentence, just a skin disorder. Don’t let it get you down, girlfriend! 😊
And for those that voted “that’s gross”, I understand your reservations! No one WANTS to deal with this. But this girl is obviously already feeling down about it, so why make her feel worse? I’m sure none of you would want to be discouraged like that if you were in her position. Which, trust me, if you’re having sex, even if it’s with your spouse, you’re at risk. So maybe get some info, ask some questions and remember we’re all human. The world is chaos, so be kind. 😊🖤

Let me tell you a story. The summer of 2016, I get a text from one of my ex's current gf. Apparently he didn't want to tell anyone that he had herpes, so she took it upon herself to tell others. I went to the free clinic (no job, no insurance) the next day and got tested. 3 days later the results come back and I have 1 and 2. Devastation. Boyfriend broke up with me (he didn't have it), I stopped eating, and a whole mess of shit went down. 3 months later me and my recent ex get back together, but we both decided to get tested to see of we had anything (minus me having herpes.) I wanted all tests done, including herpes again. Went to a my primary dr. Coming to find out, I never had herpes to begin with!!! I was so pissed off that I went through all that stress for a mistake. I called the free clinic and when they looked at my results, they saw they mixed up mines with someone else's.
