Samuel Thomas McCutcheon was born 12 days early on Valentine’s Day (best gift ever), he’s 7 pounds and 3 oz and so precious. Very quiet and has this way of staring directly into your eyes that just melts you. My labor took 13 hours and I pushed for 15 minutes. I didn’t go natural like I wanted to but maybe next time and I’m just glad he’s here and healthy. I definitely want a doula next time so I have someone else to advocate for me as well cause I kind of felt pressured to make certain decisions by the OBs and nurses that I didn’t originally want to make. I got an amazing baby out of it, so no regrets!
