How much clomid??

So I was supposed to have our first IUI cycle this month, but the doctor put a halt to it because I was showing 6-8 mature/ing follicles, and he thought it too risky (octamom!). MY QUESTION is, how much clomid were you prescribed for each of your IUI cycles?? I was given 100mg/day and wondering if that’s the norm? Or is 50mg? (I typically ovulate on my own, though my cycles aren’t super predictable. Clomid was to help regulate my cycle for iui, increase chances, etc.).

I ovulate on my own and I was taking 100mg a day, days 3-7. I had 3 mature follicles on one side and 2 on the other. I didn’t get pregnant with IUI #1. On IUI # 2 I was given letrozole and then a trigger shot. I only had 3 follicles on one side only 2 mature and on the other side nothing. I’m currently 15 dpo and 16 dpiui all I got was negative tests and a faint positive on blue dye tests. I believe clomid works better.

I’m on my first IUI cycle. I was prescribed 100mg Clomid on CD 3-7 plus Gonal-F 50 mg injections for 5 days. I go in the 28th for my follicle scan. I also have Ovidrel trigger shot that my doctor will tell me when to take based on my scan this week.

I ovulate and I was prescribed 50mg. It resulted in 3 big follicles, 2 for sure. I also had an ovidrel trigger shot.
