I was diagnosed with PCOS and I’m denial

Gabs

So please read my story and tell me if you think I should get a 2nd opinion or if this sounds like I’m just in denial:

I’m 26 years old and have been ttc for about 6 months. I went to go get blood work done and they said I have high androgen levels (DHEA) but normal everything else (including my testosterone). I had an ovarian cyst back in November but was under the impression that was generally normal when you get off birth control. Anyways, I’m 130 pounds (pretty fit), no weird hair but I do have some acne. My periods are normal ranging from 28-31 days and get this, I ALWAYS ovulate. I know this due to bbt and opks and have a clear temperature shift each month.

They put me on Metformin and I don’t like it. I don’t know if I should even be on it due to the fact I’m not obese and I’m already ovulating. Worried this may do more harm than good. Any insight on this medicine as well?

Appreciative if anyone wants to give me their opinion.. thank you!
