Book recommendations?

In 2017 I read two books that were basically life ruiners because I’m going through a spell where I’m comparing each book I’m reading to these two, and I just am not liking anything.

The books that are the best life ruiners I’ve ever had and I recommend to all are:

1.) Everything I Never Told You by Celeste Ng (she has an amazing Twitter as well if you’re into that)

2.) Crazy Rich Asians by Kevin Kwan (the film coming out this year and Constance Wu (Fresh Off the Boat actress) is the main lead and Gemma Chan is also in it AND I AM SO EXCITED)

I read.

All the time.

Only ever since these two books I cannot find another book that I like even 1/4th of how much I like these books and it is maddening.

If you’ve read these two books, please help a sister out and put me out my misery by bringing me more books I should be reading.
