Shaky after coffee?

Every time I drink coffee but don’t eat I get extremely shaky, is this normal? My hands visibly shake.

This happens to me on an empty stomach. I usually eat something before having any coffee.

I can NEVER drink coffee on an empty stomach, pregnant or not. I get nauseous and shaky.

The caffeine raises your heart rate and gets everything going - it’s also something that can become addictive so you can get similar affects if you drink lots and then stop cold turkey. I have a friend who used to get the shakes if he didn’t have caffeine every day

Thats why I dont drink coffee on an empty stomach. Its a normal reaction.
