I don’t even know what’s normal!

So I am 12 weeks today and earlier I had an episode of sharp pains in my guts. It lasted about 30 minutes while I was out getting some ice cream. I couldn’t tell if it was cramping or not. This is my first pregnancy and I don’t really know what to expect as far as pains go. It wasn’t one sided pain or anything it was like my entire lower abdomen had little sharp pains all throughout. Can anyone tell me what kinds of pains to expect? Or what kinds of pains you’ve experienced?
