Flat/inverted nipples?

Hey ladies, I’m 5 months pregnant with my second baby and I am absolutely determined to breastfed this time around. I tried with my first but he could not latch on because I have flat and inverted nipples so I pumped which was reducing my milk production. With this baby I want to make sure he latch’s on with little problem so I brought this device that are basically suction cups that suction onto the nipple and retracts and erects the nipple to give the baby a chance to latch on. Has anyone tried this? Or know about it? Did it work for you and if so how long did you use it for?
