daycare worker problems

right now the centre I work at has financial issues so new supplies aren't exactly in the budget yet and we keep running out. I feel like the poor children end up getting similar experiences over and over again and they end up just being unhappy. Child development is super important to me so I always strive to provide different experiences and materials to the children. especially sensory materials. But a lot of the time that ends up coming out of my paycheque. I end up shopping for materials I can use for programming purposes. usually they are pretty cheap and it pays off seeing their reactions and it makes me feel great knowing I am providing quality care. But sometimes I put it all on myself and I probably shouldn't be spending my earned money on my job but I do.
