Dishonest or Fair?

Not sure where else to post this but sense tattoos are controversial I'll post it here for now. So I need some opinions, I'm not sure how to appropriately handle this. I recently got a rather large non- offensive (mountain range) tattoo on my forearm. I was wondering how other people go into interviews. Do I let it be shown so they know I have it? Do I cover it but let them know I do have one? or do I not say anything at all? I feel like not saying anything at all is dishonest and are grounds to be fired even if discrimination is not allowed. How do you handle it, given if you have visible tats? I do want to say though, I don't regret the tat at all and am not in a hurry to find a job. It's more of a 'get me out of the house' job and not a professional setting. TIA
