Okay so im 17. I have a job, am planning to get a car. I pay my parents for my online classes. I make a little less than $200 a week. I pay them $150 each pay check just to pay off my classes quickly ($625). They say that if I want to be treated like an adult, I need to act like one. So far, I’m acting like one, but they don’t let me make any decisions. I was going to get an IUD, my mom made the appointment but never took me. told me I don’t need to get that since the pill works for me (I just don’t really like having to take a pill every day, but if I have to I will). So I wasn’t allowed to make that decision on my own. I’m also not allowed out. I ask to hang with friends and I’m told no. The only time I’m out is when I go to work (3 days a week for 8 hours). I’m pretty annoyed and know I have to deal with it till I move, but does it even seem fair? It’s seriously driving me crazy being in a house every day unless I’m working. We have arguments about it almost daily, and nothing changes.
