How I conceived with pcos

Me

I’ve posted before but I’ll make it short and sweet.

We’ve been ttc for 2 years and my period was wayyyyy crazy after removing mirena. Never had a normal period.

Well I got fed up at 30 years old and asked my doctor what to do. She said clomid. Ok great. A few months later we started clomid (I was going on vacation and wanted to wait until after we got back). She put me on metformin too saying it helps prevent miscarriage.

Metformin was rough but morning sickness is worse. After 3 months on clomid (two months 50 mg and one month 100 mg) and ONE good follicle, I was pregnant. 14 dpo about.

We BD days 7, 10, 12, 14, 16 and 18 to cover our bases and it worked. I stayed on metformin for 10 weeks like the doctor suggested. I’m 18 weeks pregnant with our first.

We didn’t need expensive testing or to see an RE. I weighed 125 and had normal hormones so pcos didn’t have its typical symptoms.

Please stop struggling and ask your doctor what to do. And good luck!!!
