Enough to build a stock pile?

Baby girl is 3 weeks tomorrow. I have 7 more weeks of maternity leave. She is exclusively breastfeed.
I have been pumping once a day at 5am and getting between 5 and 7oz total during at 17 minute pump session. If I only pump at 5am for the next 7 weeks, will that be a big enough stash to help me with growth spurts and such once I am back to work?

I wouldn’t believe so. U also have to take in account that ur supply may also decrease bc u child isn’t going to be suckling as often since u will be working so ur breast may signal to produce less milk. So as a precaution I would pump at least 3xs a day to have alil more just incase u do see an decline n need more in ur stockpile. Just my opinion.

What you’re doing sounds ok for a small stockpile for emergencies. As long as you plan to pump when you go back to work (so baby always has fresh milk).

As your little one gets older she’s going to eat more and require more milk which your body should respond to naturally and produce. If you’re only getting 5oz then that’s all her little belly needs max at a time (probably plus some bc 5oz is a lot at a feeding for 3 weeks with breast milk). Once my daughter hit about 5-6 weeks I started pumping about 8-9oz a pump session. I still only pump once a day, usually about 45 minutes after my first morning feed with her, and that’s the only time I pump all day. So I started when she was about 4-5 weeks old or so and get anywhere from 4-9oz. I only pack away half of it bc I leave a bottle for my husband to feed her so she gets use to the bottle and I have somewhere around 160oz frozen and she’s 2 1/2months old. I have 2 weeks left on maternity leave so she has a good stash already! It sounds like you’ve got it under control! And if you have someone feed her a bottle you can always use that feeding session to pump again so you pretty much have replaced that amount.  Good luck mama!!
