When are you starting to prepare your nursery?

When did everyone start thinking about a nursery? And when did you actually start buying furniture for it?

We started when we found out the gender at 11 weeks , and I am 27 weeks and the nursery is all done and we bought everything for the first year !!

We waited til we knew the sex. Make sure you allow enough time for furniture delivery (one place quoted me 3 months!).

We started buying things for it and preparing it at 12 weeks so we could spread the spending out.

I’m almost 22 weeks and we are slowly purchasing everything. We started buying stuff around 10/11 weeks, however we can’t put a nursery together until literally a month before baby is due cause we’re moving 🙄🙈 start when ever YOUR ready. You don’t necessarily need a “theme” to pick out the furniture and stuff. So you can wait till you know what your having to get the decor pieces!

I'm not doing a nursery. She's gonna have a corner right beside my side of the bed set up, dresser and all. Hopefully her being so close will make breastfeeding this time a little easier.

We bought a dresser and a toy box at 6 weeks because we got amazing deals. We’re not actually starting on the nursery set up for a little while

I started my nursery at 37 weeks lol. I got it done in like three days

Started the nursery/toddler room at about 20 weeks. Just got the crib and new furniture at 24 weeks. Once our 4yr olds new twin bed is here we will start rearranging the room. We started earlyish just so our 4yr old knew he would be sharing his room. He loves that HIS baby brother will share his room, just not his bed, as he says
