Is something wrong with me??

Question

I feel like I could have sex everyday but my bf only wants it maybe once a week, and when we do have sex it’s the same position, me on top, I’ve tried talking dirty and I’ve tried spicing things up a bit but nothing ever changes. Any suggestions?

I had the same experience when I got married. I was ready for bed any hour but he almost never thought about sex. I become so frustrated I tried having adult discussions about why it bothered me. He still seemed unreceptive. 
Here's what worked. I asked him to take a test, the 5 Love Languages test online, and we compared our results. The way I feel loved is Physical Touch, especially Sexually. however my husband felt most loved by quality time and acts of service. He said I was doing everything that made him feel loved, he was completely fulfilled but he unintentionally had been neglecting my needs. So we both wrote down a list of things that made us feel loved and what was important to us to have from a significant other. A key thing I wrote was that I felt most loved and fulfilled when we had sex at least once a week. So we agreed I would let him initiate sex so he had time to get himself ready, and he would at least once a week.
Once he knew it was that important to me he started trying all kinds of new positions, foreplay, and timing. Best of all he initiates at least 2-3 times a week. completely overachieving what I had asked. The point is that you do your best to fulfill each other.

Hmmm I’ll have to try this.. I am 43 and my SO is 31 and we have only done it twice this month so far :( and I would love it more then that.. need to know what to do. It’s always amazing when we do. But I would love it more often. Starting to feel like ya my fault ..like he’s not interested ??
