boyfriend of five years just told me he's not going to eat dinner with me or our two year old because he hates it when we chew. I have tmj so it's difficult to move my jaw at times. however my chewing is not loud and my mouth is always closed so I don't underatand? and as far as our two year old, well he's two. and chews like he's two. he practices chewing mouth closed tho. I'm recovering from am eating disorder and the way he went about it (loud and almost insulting, or almost like a tantruming 3 yr old) has made me self conscious about eating around him all over again. so other than that, I'm not sure how I'm supposed to feel? honestly I feel like shit.
