Sex after giving birth... HELP

Well I waited seven weeks just to be safe after giving birth and it was really uncomfortable. I’ve read that a lot of women feel loose after having a baby... I felt the complete opposite! It was so tight and so hard to get it in and then after a minute or so we had to stop because it was hurting too much. My baby is only nine weeks old and I’ve already had my period twice. I’m 21 years old. You think my body just literally went back to the way it was before? We have tried a second time but no success... I literally feel like a virgin
