Is this poo normal?

My son is 6 months old and he has been on solids for about 2 weeks now. This was the poo he did today. Does anyone know if it’s normal please? Thank you.

Constipation sweetheart and it is very very normal. Give water after each meal of solid up to 2-3 oz per day. Or prunes would be fine but mine doesn’t like that.

Have you given him blueberries? They can turn the poop an almost black color.

He looks a bit constipated. How many times a day are you giving him solids and how much? If you're giving him cereal, it normally had added iron which could be the reason it looks so dark. With my son, I usually gave him a bit of prunes every couple of days to keep him regular.

If he is eating solids I would give him about 2 ounces of prunes and see if it makes a difference.
