My boyfriend was planning on moving in with me the day after Valentines. When he finally gets here I give him his present, a thoughtfully written card and a 6 pack of his favorite beer. He thanks me and while I rush to work he gets settled in. The next day while grocery shopping and seeing all the half off Valentines stock. I look at him and realize he hadn’t got me anything this year. When I mentioned it to him he said that he was busy moving and that him being here should be enough. He also mentions that since we were planning our camping trip he had assumed that the trip would be our gift to one another. He wasn’t expecting anything so he didn’t think to bring anything as gift for me. I’m upset because I didn’t think it had to be agreed upon to exchange gifts? I’m trying to look passed it but He’s been upset and avoiding me since I mentioned it.
