Here’s how you show of decide... figure out everything you need for a baby, clothes, medical expenses, crib, diapers, bottles all the baby crap, then add on rent and utilities plus how much a gas/ car insurance will cost (if you have one) then add on groceries for the three of you, and then add on any extra spending money you’d like to have plus any money you need for yourself or your partner and then compare that number to the income you two bring in... if it’s higher than your income, don’t have a kid lol... they are expensive

My bf and I have been together for almost 6 yrs. We’re both turning 26 within the next 2 months and we both do NOT want to get married and have babies just yet. Personally, I want to enjoy my time with just my man for a couple more years and travel before having to do it with a child. We both definitely want kids and to get married but I say enjoy yourselves a bit longer. You’re still a teenager and have so much time to do all that. What’s the rush? 🤷🏻‍♀️

It's not just the financial aspect (although that's a big part). It's the social aspect as well. Your life will completely change. There will be little time for yourself and your relationship. You will have to turn down friends offers to go places or do things. Everything will be about the baby. Do you have a support network close by? We don't, and as a result we haven't seen a movie together since the second trimester (something we used to do regularly). There are other things in life my husband and I are glad we had plenty of time to experience and enjoy before having the additional responsibility of another life to care for.

My now ex and I were together for over 3 years and we were very happy together and loyal to each other until I caught him cheating on me on Thanksgiving 2017 on his 10 day leave to come home to me. Take your time. You’re only 19 and have your whole time ahead of you, both of you do. I have baby fever all year round and want a baby as well but I know I’m not ready. If you have to question it I’d wait. I know you said you don’t party and stuff but once you have a baby it’s not about you or your boyfriend anymore it’s all about that baby. Everything changes. If I were you I’d wait to have a baby until I was atleast 22 and until you guys got married. That’s just me though. I wish you nothing but the best girl!

Update: My boyfriend and I have decided to wait till we get married. Both of our families have been having lots of difficulties  and troubles so were just putting our concerns and everything into our families. Thanks everyone. We still want a baby but we are going to wait. Simple as that. Baby dust to everyone who wants babies!
