*TMI photo* Please help!!! What is this??????

So ive had this piece of tongue-like fleshy piece of skin hanging in my vagina for a while now but im embarrassed to talk to my mom or sisters about it bc we are not that close. I have searched everywhere on the internet and many people said it could be my hymen or just hymen tissue but other people said its something else and i still havent gotten any answers???? Im starting to panic!!!

I’m a virgin and never stuck a tampon or anything at all in there in my life. I’m scared to use tampons bc it could get tied up. Im scared to have sex bc it might hurt.

Also, it doesn’t cause discomfort or pain. It only bothers me appearance wise and i just wanna know why its there.
