What To Pack for the Hospital?

Hi ladies! I'm currently 32 weeks with twins and this is my first pregnancy. I figured it's about time to get a hospital bag packed and ready to go so that we aren't scrambling around last minute! What did you guys pack that you needed/used and what did you pack that was a waste of space? I know the hospital with provide a lot of stuff (diapers, wipes, disposable underwear, pads, etc). I just wanna make sure I get the bases covered! Any tips will be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance! ❤

All I took was clothes to go home in, a cheap bathrobe (waste of money) and clothes to take baby home in.
Toiletries, clothes for dad, chargers. 
I lived in the hospital robes. So much uncontrollable fluids PP, it was nice having something I’d never have to wash.

I only packed an outfit for myself (with slippers) and for baby (in 2 sizes NB & 0-3) and an outfit for SO to go home in. A light blanket and a heavier blanket for baby because it was gonna be cold. 
Then I packed my brush, hair ties and tooth brush for SO and mine. 
And also shampoo, conditioner and a lotion because I have sensitive skin.. that’s all🙃 All in a duffle bag lol

I unexpectedly had my first baby at 33 weeks. All we brought was phone chargers and a Clif bar.  All I missed was my nice soft fluffy pillow, and more snacks for hubby. And maybe an extension cord for the phone chargers. People were able to bring me clothes and whatever I needed after baby came.

What you should bring. 
Super comfy pjs one or two pairs. Your family can always bring more
Comfy clothes to go home in I brought leggings that I was wearing while I was pregnant and they didn’t fit bc I retained soo much water so be mindful that can happen
One going home outfit for baby
Blanket 
Any baby items like diapers etc I will have at the hospital
Lotion/bar of soap for yourself(I hate hospital stuff makes me itchy) , face wash, hairbrush, deodorant 
Chargers
Socks of your picky but I just wore hospital socks 
Something your SO can wear to sleep.

I packed a hair brush I forgot hair ties .. so I would definitely pack that ! And I packed undies (for when I left) and clothes to go home in . My hospital covered deodorant just it was a bar so I’d pack some .. but they had tooth brush tooth paste shampoo and soap .. I would also make sure you have pads at home my hospital didn’t give me any pads to take with me .. but told me i could take anything from the baby cart as long as t wasn’t cloth .

I absolutely over packed with my 14 month old.
-Charger for cell phones
-one change of clothes for going home. And Dad change of clothes
-two  pairs of yoga pants, sweats or lounge wear. With nursing tops I changed out of hospital grown like a hour after giving birth.
- 1-2 nursing bras. 
-tooth brushes, deodorant, hairbrush . Small shampoo/ soap. I didn’t bring make up but some people do. 
-snacks or change for vending machine. 
- Going home outfit for baby. Our hospital wouldn’t let us dress him in our stuff till we left. But I would bring a hat next time theirs wouldn’t stay on his head.

I literally just packed what I normally would for a weekend away. The only difference was the I packed more comfortable clothing (although I still had a pair of jeans to leave the hospital in). I packed nothing special: extra long phone cord, my computer so I could get some work done, clothes, makeup, shower essentials, regular pads, my pillow, and a few onesies for our daughter. That's really all I used and needed.

I started saving the last few days worth of my toiletries and makeup so I packed almost empty bottles and then threw the rest away at the hospital! I also got a cheap toothbrush and packed it so I wasn't scrambling for mine. 
Lounge wear for 3 days 
Flip flops 
Robe or cardigan 
Nursing bras and nursing pillow  (or just use the hospital's)
Pads if you're picky about your own brand (i didn't mind the hospital's)
Phone charger 
Hair ties
Tic tacs or listerine strips in case you vomit during labor 
Water bottle and odor free snacks for your partner  (I was starving so I didn't want him eating something yummy in front of me but also didn't want him leaving me to go find food lol)
For baby I just packed a going home outfit and blanket for the car.

I way over packed with my first... with my second I packed myself 2 pair of yoga pants 2 T-shirt’s, 2 nursing bras, socks and slippers and a robe. I packed my husband just 1 change of clothes and slippers and lots of snacks for him. For baby I packed 2 sleepers and a coming home outfit, I actually packed 2 but 1 newborn and 1 0-3month, luckily I did because he was too big for newborn. I also packed 1 Muslin blanket and 1 plush blanket. I’m due with #3 in just a few weeks and will probably pack the same if not even lighting since I’m hoping to only stay 24 hours.
