How to remove black hair dye from scalp?

I dyed my hair black brown last night and my scalp is stained black brown and looks awful. I washed my hair with shampoo 3 times to try and get it off my scalp but it won’t work. I read online to use nail polish remover but I’m out. Any tips? I got made fun of all day in school and hope to get rid of the stains before tomorrow.

Try toothpaste! I dyed my hair bright shocking pink and it worked. Rub some tooth paste on and let it dry for a min the scrub it off. If it doesn’t remove it it should at least fade it.
