Ladybug Superstition?

Yesterday, my mother-in-law called to say that a ladybug landed on her during a meeting. Someone in the meeting told her that means a baby is coming into her life soon. What is strange, is that yesterday morning, I opened the medicine cabinet in the bathroom and a ladybug fell out into my hand. I didn't think anything of it until she told me her story. I am a person of science and fact, so I usually don't look too much into superstition. But it was such a strange coincidence! Has anyone else heard of this belief?
