I heard that you have to wait to know if your pregnant till your second period misses after you have sex with out birth control so you’d still have a period between when you got pregnant and your missed period... is this true?

No. If you get pregnant, you will stop menstruating although you could have some spotting or even relatively heavy bleeds. You can take a test in the first few days of that first missed period.

I've read when people have light periods though out the first 3 months they are pregnant happened to my mom when she was pregnant with my sister.
