I’m straight but I used to have a bestfriend who hated when people asked her “how do you have sex?”.

When straight girls refer to their friend(s) as girlfriend(s). 
Also (she’s stopped now bc I told her it bothered me) but one of my friends would often tell others when referring to how great of roommates and friends we are (we are still good friends but not currently roommates as she lives with her fiancé) “if I wasn’t straight I’d totally marry her” it always made me super uncomfortable since my feelings for her were strictly platonic and if “she wasn’t straight” I’d have to find a way to let her down easy. And she’d also usually end up outing me to clarify that I wasn’t straight which to strangers only made it sound like I had a crush on her when I didn’t.

It doesn’t phase me. I’ve known a lot of gay women and been hit on a few times, but I kindly inform them they’re barking up the wrong tree lol. Just tells me I won’t have to worry about you hitting my man 😂
