How to Control Weight Gain in Second Trimester?
Unlike most women in the first trimester, I didn't lose weight. In fact, I had zero morning sickness, am just entering my second trimester, and have already gained 5.2 lbs. I did experience severe fatigue from week 8 up until now, which made it hard to cook healthy dinners and go for my regular walks. Thankfully, my energy is finally coming back, and I'm eager to do what I can to get my weight gain back in check. How can I keep my weight gain for the second trimester on the low end? Is it safe to try to lose some of that first trimester weight, or do I just have to accept it and do what I can from here on out to eat healthier and exercise? My doctor didn't give me a weight gain "goal" for my pregnancy, but personally I'd like to keep it under 20 lbs. Will this still be possible?
