Should document writing & how to fill them in be taught in high school?

College offered a course called “Life 102”. I learned all that, had mock interviews, basics of nutrition and exercise, and scam spotting. Loved it.

They are taught in home economics classes. Home ec is often an elective course though so not everyone takes it.

Yes! I was in a program for at risk students where we had a special 2 hours class just for us. They thought a wide range of life things and these were included and it helped me ALOT when it came time for me to do it in real life.

I’m an English teacher in the US and we definitely teach these skills. I don’t see them going away anytime soon, thankfully.

Yes. We learned all of these. We were also taught to write budget, memorize our social security number and school ID/DL#, and our final was an interview.

They covered this stuff in business college. However, not everyone goes to college and it’s a life skill everyone needs. So yeah, I think it should be taught in high school as an elective, not a required course.
