Is it normal to always be irritated with my boyfriend?

Don’t get me wrong, I love him. But I’m always irritated with him. I miss him dearly and it’s like as soon as he calls or I see him in person I’m irritated. My therapist says my ADHD causes me to be annoyed because people can’t read my mind and can’t keep up with me. Is that what it is? We’ve been dating over a year. I’m also just an irritable person in general. Is his normal relationship stuff? Is he just not the one? He does nothing wrong.
