Am I a bad mom? 😩

Ive rescheduled 2 of my weekly doctor appoiments. I was 35 weeks when I last was seen and have an appointment Monday I'll be 38 weeks 2 days. All they do is measure me and hear baby's heartbeat which I own a Doppler so I just think it's kind of a waste of  time. I've had a healthy pregnancy. This is baby number 3 , never had any issues. But the lady was being really rude when I called to reschedule. What do you guys think? 😑

I personally think it is very important to check baby's heartbeat and your blood pressure more often during those last weeks. Waiting three weeks between would make me nervous.

You aren't a bad mom. I'm the same this time around. I'm preggo with #4. You kinda lose that paranoia you have the more babies you have and nothing really ever feels as urgent. I missed a monthly appt so wasn't seen for almost 2 months but baby was moving fine and I feel fine so I wasn't worried. I'm almost to the every 2 week appt stage and I'm already anticipating not making all those lol I think they get more upset with you changing appts because that's time they could have scheduled someone else and as a former secretary nobody is ever impressed if you're a constant changer (calling and rescheduling multiple times) so I just don't bother booking until I'm ready to go in. Saves us both the headache lol

My doctor won’t even start weekly checks until 38 weeks, last I saw him was 36 weeks and then at 32 before that. You’re fine as long as baby is still moving around and you aren’t showing any signs of labor/preeclampsia.

Went to my 36 weeks appt and got sent in for an ultrasound to be sure she was head down and they found low fluid levels and they admitted me to the hospital and am now being monitored very closely. So yeah I would say all appointments are very important to keep. My pregnancy was healthy too until we saw this. Just because you think your healthy doesn’t me your baby shouldn’t be checked on.

Just don’t cancel anymore. They need to know your blood pressure. But no you’re not a bad mom. I stretcbed out omg if my appointments. It was supposed to be a biweekly but i made it a 4 weeker lol. My ob said I’m not allowed to do that again or she won’t be my doctor haha. I love her so much, but I don’t think she was totally joking. She’s the number one ob in the area!

nah in the uk we dont see midwife weekly at this stage. im 35 weeks n saw my midwife 3 weeks ago. ill see her at 36 weeks next. then i think its like 2 weekly depending on how u are.

No you're not a bad mom, I go but mostly cause I want to get out of the house lol. This is my third also and if I had a Doppler it wouldn't even be worth it.

I snuck out without booking my last midwife appointment. It’s literally 4 days before my csection and I’m the same, wait for 30 minutes with my 2 year old, measure, blood pressure, Doppler cya 🙋🏽‍♀️
The next day I received a text message “confirming my appointment for the 28th of feb” 
I can’t escape! 😩😩😂
Get to the appointment at some point, but no, you’re not a bad Mum.
