Is this how a miscarriage starts?

I have been spotting for a week like this currently 5 weeks pregnant could this be a miscarriage?

UPDATE - I often find this app is loads of questions and not a lot of answers 
So for anyone that has searched this topic
as your in the same boat I wanted to give you an update;
I spotted like this for a whole week went to the hospital and had my scan, saw the heartbeat and all was fine and it’s completely stopped now! 
I’m now 7.2 weeks 😊 so spotting like this is not always bad!  X

Some bleeding in early pregnancy can be normal but please contact your doctor or midwife to see what they say.

everyone is different. each time I spotted it ended in miscarriage. this time around I havent had any spotting and im 13.5 weeks. if you are concerned call your doctor

same thing happened to me and I went to a and e. they booked me in for a scan and everything was fine. I'm 18 weeks now and all is still ok. I hope everything is ok with you x

I got this two times when I wiped when I was just over 5 weeks. I haven’t had a scan yet but doctor wasn’t worried at all, and I’ve had no spotting since.
