Homemade babyfood?!

hello ladies, is anyone planning on making their own baby food, or have already made it? I want to make my own, just wondering if anyone had any tips! I breast feed and I plan on mixing my milk with whatever makikng instead of using water. My son is 4.5 months and he has been doing great with oatmeal so I'm wanting to try some new things with him and his doctor gave us the go ahead.      Here's a picture because he's cute

Yes it’s so easy! I steam everything and then blend it with an immersion blender! I just made everything at once and used ice cube trays to portion and freeze it. I’ve made butternut squash, peas, carrots, green beans, apples, pears, avocado, pumpkin, sweet potato, and banana! My twins love it and I actually really enjoy making it for them!

my ped said to give my 4mth daughter whatever we eat as long as it doesn't contain eggs, peanut butter, dairy or honey. I tried some beef and rice last night she didn't really like it so far she seems to really love sweet potato.

Ok making my own baby food. I bought the baby bullet and glad I did. It’s very easy to use and has a recipe book. So far I’ve made sweet potatoes, avocado and butternut squash. I’ve been buying organic veggies, much more cost effective and fresh!

I made it with my first and will with this one. It’s soooo easy, way cheaper, and yummier! 
I got a sage spoonfuls system, but this time I’ll probably make bigger batches with my vitamix.

I was thinking of starting with avocado, then sweet potato. I currently give her some baby oatmeal, per my ped recommendation.

I'm going to make my own if it doesn't turn out to be too much work :) I just got a Béaba Babycook Solo to steam/purée vegetables and fruits, which is supposed to keep most of the vitamins intact. Going to start when she turns 5 months old (in 2 weeks), probably with green beans, zucchini, spinach, carrots and other easy-to-digest veggies, then add fruit.
