What medicines are you taking post IUI?

Hi, Im curious,  what medicines are you taking after the IUI and what side effects are you having if any? Iv been prescribed progesterone inserted by vagina,  and folic acid.  Having terrible cramps and mood swings.  Would love to know what others are taking.

I’m on my first iui and I’ve been feeling cramps and nausea on and off. I wasn’t prescribed any post meds (I’ve been taking prenatals, B6 and Omega3 for 2 yrs while ttc). I was on 3 clomid cycles a few months back and felt some of the same symptoms. I’m just assuming it’s the fertility drug side effects. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I'm taking oral progesterone. if that doesn't work I will go to suppositories or shots.

Hi! I’m not taking anything .. but I’m just curious as why your doctor prescribed progesterone? I’ve noticed soo many women are taking it. Is this your first iui?
