Should I cancel the trip or not

So back story. My parents planned this family cruise to the Caribbean with a ton of other family members so of course my husband and I wanted to tag along. They were willing to pay for most of our part so why not! I'll be 22 weeks at the start of it so the ships policy is to get a doctor's note saying I'm fit to travel and my due date. So when I brought this up to my doctors nurse she reminded me of the zika virus down there, which I already knew and made plans to not leave the ship at the stops and always have bug spray on. But the nurse made it seem like no big deal. I then get a call yesterday saying my doctor will not give me permission to travel because of the zika warning. I'm obviously upset because the cruise is 1 month away! But also mad because I understand they don't want to be liable if anything were to happen but shouldn't It be my choice? all I need is a note saying both me and the baby are healthy and my due date. not whether she agrees or not. But I tried to think positive and come up with other trip ideas so at least the plane tickets wouldn't be wasted. but after I researched, the countries I'm going to don't even have zika warnings! I'm going to the Bahamas and grand Cayman. My question is should I call back and confront her about this and see if she'll reconsider? I'm not sure how to go about this situation and I'm a very shy and not the kind of person to make a big deal out of things. Opinions??
