It's sometimes lonely but like today I'm 33 weeks pregnant I needed to rest and I put my 2 year old in his room for a nap and I took a nap. It has its perks.

My daughter is 14mo. For the longest time I loved it but as of around 12mo all my mommy friends are back to work so it feels kind of lonely. The days are long. We usually have something planned for every day (different playgroups) but the time in between can feel long. My daughter doesn’t take more than a one hour nap per day so it’s long. Also since it’s winter and it’s too cold to be outside and my daughter isn’t walking yet and hates the stroller lol. I can’t wait til spring!!!! 
My little one starts daycare next month and I am returning to work and although it will be a hard adjustment I am looking forward to socializing again and having some time for myself. But I will still miss her😭❤️

It’s HARD. I love my daughter (20 months) and I know I’ll never regret this time with her but the days are really long. It’s extremely isolating. Sure you can find playgroups to meet up with once in a while but the regular day-to-day (especially in the winter when going outside isn’t really doable for very long) is hard. I worry that she’s not getting enough interaction with other kids. I also worry that I’m not doing enough to stimulate her mind. Yeah, there’s ideas of things to do/crafts to make etc. on Pinterest but I definitely have a lot of unfilled time. Pregnant with baby #2 and plan to return to work when he’s pre-school aged or so. Interested to see what others say.
